Memories of October: Michael Style

Michael turned three this month! It was very fun! We had tickets to a BYU game that day and he was thrilled to go! Mike and I were both surprised to see how much of the game he really tried to watch. He wanted a basketball cake and we got a cute basketball hoop off craigslist.org for his present.
He was also a basketball for Halloween. Michael is such an awesome little man! I love him. He is mega concerned about what to wear every morning. He always has me laughing with what he chooses to put on each morning. Most days he just wants basketball shorts, rain or snow. He loves hats. The day before his birthday, Adelyn earned enough money to buy a BYU hat and he was green with envy. Little did he know that we had one all wrapped up for him the next day. At the lake, we had the perfect set-up for Michael... a little side lake with warmer water he could play in. He loved it. Michael loves fishing because Daddy does, not because I think he really likes fishing. He caught a whopper. He also got a shaver for his birthday, which is very much a Michael present. He loves his daddy.

Funny how kids just seem to come a certain way. Our Robbie was the same about clothes from a very young age and that has never changed. Christian was so thrilled when he left on his mission. He went straight downstairs and raided his closet. Robbie had packed away any clothes he thought he might want when he gets back but I know that he will not want to wear anything that was "in" two years ago.
