One Boy, One Girl

It's fun to notice differences in Adelyn and Michael as they get older and develop their own personalities. Michael loves the water. It doesn't seem to matter that it's in his eyes and up his nose. Adelyn is still terrified, and doesn't like mom to wash her hair because it means laying down.

Here are some fun bath time pictures.

Garden Freezes Over

As fun as it has been to have a garden, we are kind of excited to think that it might have frozen over last night. Here's a final picture of our garden in it's most mature stage.

BYU Football

It's football season around here these days. For the last couple weekends, we've spent a couple hours back with BYU. For BYU's first away game, Mike had Garrick over to listen to it on the radio/on the Internet. The first home game we watched in Provo, soaked through and through for the white and blue. We stayed through the weather delay and ended up getting great seats on the 2nd row for the last 7 minutes of the game.

Carnival Diva

For one day, Adelyn was the epitome of carnival. Spoiled with all the rides she ever wanted (thanks to grandma and grandpa's connections), princess hat (from the kids' day activity), and Kool-Aid mustache. She was quite the sight... and a little bossy.

The perfect fishing trip

We planned a fun little fishing trip up the canyon. We were going to do it right this time... chairs, pack n' play, picnic lunch, yellow power bait and soda. We made the drive up to Yankee Meadows and realized we forgot the fishing poles. Oh, but that didn't stop us. We did have fishing line, bait and sticks. Didn't catch anything, but had a great night with our family.
