Identical Triplets

It'll only be a few years before people will be wondering how we got identical triplets.  I love how Nelson and Braden look so much like Joey.  P.S. yes, that is really a picture of them in the stroller, as in... WE GOT OUT OF THE HOUSE!

What Adelyn has learned of Jewels

Adelyn loves reading non-fiction as much as she likes a good fiction story.  She has also been on the search for jewels during almost every recess of first grade.  She has learned a lot of great things.  Here are a few Jewel facts:

Becuase of her interest, I went and picked her up a Crystal and Gemstone book from the library.  She hadn't said anything about it, so I went down to ask her if she had looked at it.  She had written a note on the other side of her easel that said, "Mom and Dad thank you for the book (crystals and gemstones)."  Adelyn is such a neat girl.

Blessing Day

We had a wonderful Sunday.  The boys were blessed in our ward.  They looked great and behaved wonderfully all day.  It is always such a neat feeling to reconize the eternal nature of a new baby and get a glimpse of their potential.  These little boys are so special, and we love having them in our home.

Kindergarten Registration Celebration!

Congrats to Michael!  He is all ready for Kindergarten.  He got all his shots- without crying.  He got his shots before Braden and Nelson to show them how it's done!

Every time he heard me say, "Kindergarten Registration," he did his crazy yelp!  He was excited!  He was sad to find out that he'd have to wait until September to start school.  We let him wear a new shirt to ease the pain.  New school clothes are half the fun for this man.  He is serious about his clothes.  We love Michael's excitement for everything.  He is a good friend, and an excellent helper.  I don't think he gets enough thanks for all the things he does.  He is a very mature 5 year old, and I am so happy to have him in our home.  I know it will be good for him to start school, but this mommy is going to miss having all his help.  He is so caring and thoughtful.

He finished his packet in record time...

passed all his tests...

and got a special treat to finish off a great day!
