First of a Summer-ful of 5K's

We have had so much fun jogging together in the mornings. We decided our incentive to keep running would be to register for 5K races. It goes like this... if we don't do the run, we're out the money. If we run and don't train, we come in last. Our goal for the season is to improve our time each race. We'll see how it goes. Here are Alissa's results (bib #60) and Mike's results from the race (bib #59).

Adelyn's First Word

Adelyn thinks she's started to read. She said, "this pop is called A and W." I told her she was right, and she got really excited that she had "read" what it said.

Spring Cleaning

FREE to a good home. Please come haul all our rocks away. We don't like rock landscaping.

We also got the chemical hut moved out of our backyard under the alias of: "a playhouse for your kids!" We also had some friends come and help CRUSH the concrete slab underneath it so we can haul it away.

Best Friends

Michael and Adelyn play together so well. Yesterday Adelyn was so sad that Michael had to go down for a nap. Here they are at today's Parowan City Easter Egg Hunt. Accounting Professionals was announced as a sponsor!
Here they are eating Ants on a Log. When I was little I never understood why anyone would eat this unusual concoction. When I was pregnant with Michael, it was a staple.

Here they are reading books in Adelyn's room. Sometimes the only "toys" that are out are their books.
Mike tries to get them to do tricks all the time. It's all the better when one of them is trying, because it makes the other one give it a go too.
