This is us and our recent adventures with apples! The kids' newest area of expertise: How to spot a wormy apple. We had a great time! Joey with apple skin hair... I think he'd make a nice blondie, oh wait, he is a blondie.

The specs for Halloween 2009

5 Pumpkins carved. We each had our own... Adelyn did hers with absoultely no help this year (bottom picture, far right).

Some activities auditioning to become family traditions

• roasting pumpkin seeds
• dinner in a pumpkin
• and last but not least, trading the kids Halloween candy for ANY candy they want at the gas station (Michael chose a sour candy extinguisher, and Adelyn chose gummy "fast food"). And for the record, I don't think that makes us mean parents.
