Volume II

I always get excited to see my "scrapbooks" come in the mail. Today we got Volume II of our "blog book" and I am so happy to see this blog come to life on paper. On the inside covers, I glue some paper CD holders to hold, videos for 2008-2009, all pictures of 2008-2009, not just the ones in the blog book, and a PDF copy of the book itself. It works pefect for me. I am going to try and do it a little differently next time around, working on it as I go, and adding more "braggy" things about the kids I often choose not to blog about. Yay!

Geocaching

After checking out our profile, I had to admit, even though we love geacaching, we don't go very often. This week is the exception, and I have a new one planned for every day of the week. You see, when we first moved here, there were only a few geocaches, and we got those checked off the list pretty fast. It's been a while since we checked the list and, WOWZA!! I can find over 200 caches on a map of our area, so the thrill is back in effect.

Here we are in the middle of nowhere, 10 miles out of town, driving on half a road, searching for a pint-sized jar hidden in a pile of rocks... easy find.

I did warn her...

...she would eventually get hurt.

But even after hurting her wrists yesterday, she started playing again today. It's her "boat" and it's headed down a waterfall. And it's all too fun, something I think both Mike and I would have done when we were little.

Another tooth, another trick

Yes, Mike really tied a string to her tooth, and Adelyn slammed the door all herself. It took a few tries, but it eventually worked. I didn't think people did this for real. It always sounded like a threat to me.
