Basement Buddies

Michael and Joey were able to move their room from upstairs to downstairs with a little help this weekend.  Michael was expressing to Adelyn how excited he was and Adelyn (with a little giggle) said, "Awesome, your new neighbor is the bathroom."  Joey seemed a little put-off by the idea as we were putting him to bed last night, and ended up in our room sometime in the middle of the night.  Michael said he had the best sleep ever.  Overall, I think they like it, but see for yourselves.

Michael, always a treat

Later in the night wore a black frosting beard.

Can't leave In N' Out without a hat.  Self-proclaimed "hamburger man."

Makes Joey wear a tie too so that they can have pretend church meetings.

One of his many get-ups.  Get-ups make me smile.

Fall Fishing

This year I didn't even get a license, I just sat back in a reclining camp chair and enjoyed the show.
Fall is Mike's all-time favorite time to go fishing.  This year was probably our second best year ever at Panguitch.  Everyone caught a fish, and Adelyn was the winner of the day.

This is Joey touting his very first fish.  I like to look at all the kids expressions.  I think the kids are still deciding what they think about fishing.

The very next week we hit the Nay's secret fishing hole, and hit the jackpot.  It was like playing the fishing game in primary where you throw the pole over a sheet and get a tug 10 seconds later with a prize.  They would throw a pole in and count to 30... and whip out a fish.
Mike got a little cocky and started using the Mickey Mouse pole to catch fish, and yes, even that worked.
Michael picked a little swampy place to fish, and that worked great for him.  Joey was probably throwing in his own pole without bait, and that probably worked too.
Adelyn has recently deemed herself a, "messy girl."  She helped Mike gut one of the fish at Panguitch and carried this fish to the stringer.  I believe this is why she also comes home from school so muddy.

Who wouldn't have loved the fish that day?

Hooray for Third Trimester!

Every day that goes by, I am so thankful these little guys are still tucked up inside of me, regardless of how big it makes me, or how uncomfortable I feel.  They are growing so perfectly, and I feel super blessed to be so healthy, and have such healthy little babies.  They are each 2.5 pounds, and hopefully content to stay for another couple months.  This week I sort of ran out of maternity clothes that fit me, but decided I'm going to be pregnant for a while longer, so I went ahead and ordered new maternity clothes!  Hooray for new clothes!

Preparations are under way to start a nursery this week.  We are painting the guest room, and moving the boys downstairs.  Then it's up to the loft to sort through all the baby storage.  With the holidays upon us, it feels so close, and it is SO exciting!
