For about 10 days, Ben/Anna/William/Alice get to stay at our house while the rest are out vacationing. We thought we'd introduce them to Parowan the "right" way. We made them (made them... paid them... same thing) participate in the little britches RODEO. Our favorite clip was of Ben so we'll share. Look for the blue shirt and red shorts. You can see Adelyn stretching at the beginning (yellow shirt, jeans). Anna and William are on the very right end next to Ben.

Professional
The title of Professional can be applied to a lot of things Mike does. He is incredibly good at accounting and finance: very efficient and detail-oriented.
He is also a Professional at Atari. I can't beat him at anything. The kids decided they really like playing too. Michael almost made it past the crocodiles in Jungle Hunt (who knew all that button pushing he does would come in handy for him), and Adelyn really liked to "crash" in Surround.

Sweltering temps give way to yummy ice cream cake
After racing in the Freedom Run, and coming home with only one "medal" between the two of us, (an "Explorer" medal... i.e. someone hit our car and scraped it up, leaving the Explorer metal face plate on the ground next to it) we decided to do something fun and shoot some rockets. However, it was really hot, which made it a little hard for the kids. I attached some pictures of this hot little family, and of course, the recipe for the ice cream cake that helped cool us down. It was easy and delicious!! (check the sidebar)
This is Brett, Mike and I shooting off rockets. Notice our matching race outfits. We wore them all day long. Race times A- 24:19 M- 25:36. I'm afraid he is going to beat me one of these days but I have yet to see it happen :)
