Woes of Winter

Just last week Mike and Alissa had the chills and ills. Mike got to watch a fishing movie since he was too sick to go to his scout meeting. This week Adelyn has a fever and a cough. She gets extra naps and "monster drinks." Hopefully it warms up a little in the next few months so we can be done with all of this before the baby gets sick too!

A little update: The baby got it too. Maybe by the end of the week we can be better.

Penny Power

Not only did the King Soopers grocery store earn respect from Alissa and Mike by building 1 mile from our front door, but they have earned the respect of Adelyn (as loyal as she is) for their penny horse rides, free cookies, and car shopping carts. We've started taking the camera around town to capture some of "Castle Rock's Bests" and other things we might miss here in Colorado.
