A Hairy Tale

Once upon a time there was a girl with crooked hair. All her haircuts before had been given by her mother who couldn't get it straight. The local beauty college came to the rescue with a fishy apron and dreamy prices. And they all lived happily ever after with ice cream as a reward.

Michael's Many Hats

Adelyn has never been into "dress-up" as much as Michael. If he finds a hat, he puts it on. If he finds gloves, those adorn his hands. If he finds a sock, be it dirty or clean, it becomes a glove.

Popcicle Weather

It's been so nice! Last week we took the kids out in their stroller/bike trailer several times. It gets a little hot inside, so we bought some popcicles for their well-deserved reward. Obviously Michael's never had one because he couldn't figure out how he was supposed to hold it.

Adelyn wanted to wear her "watermelon" dress today for church. It has been fun to pull out summer clothes for us and the kids.It also reminds us of all the projects we have outlined for the spring/summer. We got a good start and had some help knocking over the impeding pillars in our front yard.

We went to IHOP early for breakfast...
