Foot Traffic

We enjoyed the company of 18 guests from our Sunday School class last night. They were so fun to have over! Both the kids and the puppy benefited from all the extra attention! Mike and I just had a good time letting them make all the noise and jokes they desired, since on Sundays we are often trying to get them to be a little quieter. The boys loved the penny game, especially when Mike lost!

The Name Game- We Have a WINNER!

Apparently, Adelyn does not have a hard time with names like Mike and I do. She came up with the name "Skippy" all on her own (obviously). On Sunday, we suggested a ton of different names trying to persuade her to name him something cool. She finally laid down the law and said quite boldly "NO MORE CHOICES! Me and Dad are going to call him Skippy. What are you going to call him, mom?" I said I would call him Skippy.

Excuse our excitement for the new puppy. We will continue with posts about our family life very soon.

Thank you for all your name suggestions. I wish we could have 50 puppies to name! Okay, not really, but there were at least 50 good names for 1 sweet puppy!

No Name

We're still looking for the perfect name. This little guy came home with us on Valentine's Day from a local shelter. We took him for a trial run and decided he's a keeper. Here's some pictures. We'd like some help brainstorming for a good name. We can't name our own business... we can't even name our own baby. We had a "name the baby" cache for Michael. We certainly won't be able to name our own dog.

The Home Team

We dressed Adelyn up and rummaged up some pom poms for her to take to the basketball game. She enjoyed being the cheerleader and knocking fans in the face with the poms. It doesn't matter what game we are watching she always cheers for Rams AND Cougars!

No More Driving- The Colorado Trip

The kids did great on the trip.

Michael's least favorite part was his car seat.

Adelyn's favorite part was the train. When she saw it coming she would tell everybody who was waiting, "Everybody! The train is coming! The train is coming!"

Mike's favorite part was going to restaurants we don't have around here.

Just people watching

I took Michael and Adelyn shopping a lot during our recent week-long trip to Colorado. I think I finally got rid of the shopping bug by finding plenty of good deals. The kids just loved watching all the people. Adelyn would run ahead and wave her arms saying, "Hello Everybody!!" Michael would just run... away.
