The Fight For 328 Benton Street

Round 1- Roxy the Realtor steps into the ring, cheered on by her clients. She realizes she only brought half a turkey to talk and accepts our rejection.

Round 2- “Mo” brings more. Not enough, but more. We give their financials a stare, and decide this one is worth a counter… but not until #3 has had their chance.

Round 3- Bob, part of Castle Rock’s #1 team, checks his watch and realizes that they saw the house they wanted last Saturday, and today is Friday. He throws in a quick power punch, but only matches “Mo.”

So we choose #2, #3 is blue. On February 28th, we’ll sign away our fate. On March 3rd, is when we fly like a bird.

Happy Birthday Adelyn "2" Crockett

We celebrated Adelyn's real birthday with 3 other families from the ward. She was astounded that they were singing a song with her name in it. She was also quite proud that she was the one who got to blow the candles out after all the other kids begged and pleaded. She's learning to say "2" instead of "1" when we ask her how old she is. She woke up the next morning, put on a party hat and said, "more birthday presents!" If only it could last forever...

Practicing Tricks

Mike has decided it's time for Adelyn to step up and learn to wink. She practices a lot, mostly at meal time, and can now do it with both eyes. You try it! She's practically a genius.

Growing Up and Out

Couldn't believe Michael grew out of Adelyn's stroller so quick. He's not a giant, but sure looks like one here. Adelyn likes pushing her dolls around better. They aren't so heavy! We're glad Michael's such a good sport.

First Smiles

Michael does a wonderful job brightening the day with his new, and sweet smile. We're sure happy he's around. He's starting to tell his babble stories, and sleep a little bit longer (every once in a while). It's the best to see him smile at Adelyn!

Ever Popular 90% off

Today we enjoyed our annual "get-there-as-soon-as-it-opens" trip to Target. Taking 2 kids was harder than one, and left less room in the shopping cart for our 90% off deals! In this picture, Adelyn shows off her sweater/hat sets (each 1.29) which she will be wearing for the next 3 (hopefully 4) seasons. Just like Christmas all over again!
