Who says who have to celebrate your birthday on your birthday?
As much as I prefer celebrating my birthday on the REAL day, it was kind of nice to spoil Mike for his 1/2 birthday this year. Since his birthday is on New Years Eve, somebody else is usually in charge of the party/food and we are usually out of town so it's hard to spoil him. This year we had a party on June 30th complete with cake, decorations, birthday breakfast, birthday dinner and his very own choice of birthday activity. We went fishing up to forebay (a few miles from our house). It was a beautiful night. Here's some quick pictures.

Soooo...Happy 1/2 birthday to Mikey! I had no idea! Of course, that doesn't mean I would have sent a present :). Do you still have mush cake with ice cream??? And NICE fish there, Adelyn!
If I had it my way I'd celebrate both my 1/2 and my regular birthday (and I don't even have a holiday as an excuse). :) Happy halfie Mike!
