Backyard Bliss

When we purchased our house, I never could have dreamed the backyard would be a place we could enjoy- it was disgusting. When we had a puppy, I never dreamed the backyard would be a place we could enjoy. But, Mike put in some hard work days and built some planters for the backyard, and we put in a little garden. This year we have strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, cabbage, tomatoes, yellow squash and zucchini. Everything but the cabbage looks remarkable and I am so happy with the finished product. Today I saw Michael chowing down on a raw zucchini he had picked. Now that's bliss!
