Some of our latest additions

So, back in October, we made a trip up to Salt Lake, when we found a great deal on this 2013 Hyundai Sonata.  It was a fun trip.  Not only did we get Mike's new work car, but we got to catch a BYU football game.  A great, quick trip.  Or QT as Phoenixians might refer to it.
Mike, just finished getting the windows tinted, and now it looks like the luxury car that we always felt like we have been driving!

With addition often comes deletion, and we were happy to delete the Pontiac Bonneville from our insurance.  Although, it isn't gone completely, since we still get to see it bopping around town with the lady who bought it from us.
Also, back in October, we added a new niece, Hannah.  I know we don't always get the chance to post new cousin/niece/nephew picture each time it happens, but I secretly just wanted to add this picture because Hannah has such a huge grin on her face for a newborn :)
 Lots of Crockett's!
We also added a dog to our lives.  Izze was at an animal shelter, and was a perfect match.  I had looked for a few months, wasting lots of time on Petfinder, and all the facebook pages kept up by local animal shelters.  When Izze popped up on facebook, I gave it a few days thought, then jumped in the car with the kids and went to meet her.  She was about a year old, a smaller sized dog, mostly housetrained, and very good with kids.  It was so so perfect, and we have loved her.  She's had several different looks since we brought her home.
The "found-me-as-a-stray" look.
 The "just-been groomed" look
And her most recent "maternity cut" because, after all, what would this perfect dog story be without a bit of conflict.
Apparently, Izze came into the shelter pregnant, and without us or the shelter knowing it, had been housing 2 puppies all this time.  We didn't have a clue until we took her to the vet to get her spayed, and they said she was showing some signs of pregnancy.  Little did we know, she was actually only 13 days away from delivering!  I'm glad we had 13 days to get our minds wrapped around the idea that we would be caring for puppies, in the very final weeks before delivering our own baby!
And so without further ado, our latest addition- Izze's puppy

Adelyn named "the twins" Ramona and Revere.  Revere, was the first puppy, born stillborn while we were at church.  Ramona seems to be doing great, in her first 24 hours, and we are excited for this little chapter of our lives.
