Slacker Halloween?

We only took two kids trick-or-treating on Halloween.

We only passed out 100 pieces of candy, then turned out the lights early (about 7:00 pm) and then grumbled about all the kids we didn't even know who grabbed more than once piece and didn't say thank you.

Passed out 100 pieces of candy to trunk-or-treaters the weekend before Halloween, and once again, shut the trunk early when the candy was gone.

Adelyn didn't even get dressed up.  Trick-or-treating just wasn't motivating her that day.

We didn't get a picture of anybody dressed-up but the youngest three.

We carved two pumpkins instead of our usually one-per-family-member quota.

No costume for Mom, no costume for Dad.

Ordered more candy from Amazon after Halloween than before.

We did eat string cheese "fingers," rice "monsters" and maybe something else kind of theme-ish for dinner, but I don't even remember.

And finally presenting... the pictures, in all their unphotoshopped glory:

Highlight of Halloween was watching how much Michael enjoyed carving pumpkins.  He spent over an hour.  It was very cool to me.

Mike and I both sewed one while we were watching a movie one night.  Aren't we crafty?

Joey's Pumpkin, and Michael's pumpkin.

Don't be fooled by the Power Ranger appearance of this costume, he is a Blue Ninja!
