We enjoyed being able to spend Christmas here in hometown with family. Then, because of a little driving, we were able to spend Christmas with more family. It was a great combination. Christmas Eve we were served a delicous meal by two very willing little brothers and a magnificent chef.

We spent the night and all slept downstairs.

Adelyn's big present was a "water" doll. I am pleased Santa knew what a water doll was, because I had no idea.

Michael's big present was a tool box, which he continues to enjoy.

After a late night, and early morning, the kids slept a lot of the drive down south.
Down south was colder weather than expected at first, and then BEAUTIFUL! The kids had fun playing outside, especially since they don't get that privelage very often here in the snow. We only let them play in the snow if they take their shirts off.

Just Kidding! Mike made a deal with Michael that he could open a present on Christmas Eve if he'd make a snow angel without a shirt. He wasn't willing to do it again for anything... nor would anyone else.
Our adventures down south included an annual trip to the train park and a bonus trip to the zoo!

Doesn't Joey look like he loved the zoo? And this was even AFTER we'd been there all day!

Look at my Flamingo Family!
