Labor Day means Labour

Work, work, work. Thanks to everyone who came to help paint our garage. We got it all finished, except for some trim work (stuff I can do, little bits at a time).

Here is some of the paint crew, Mom C was also part of the hard-working group of painters.
This is Michael "working," too. The real work was keeping an eye on our helpful painters :)
The kids built some zucchini boats to enter in the "crazy horticulture" section of the county fair. We definately had all the craziest entries!
We also ran the traditional Labor Day 5K, this time with newcomer Don. We didn't see him after the start, he took off like a gazelle.

I'm so impressed with all your 5k's! You amaze me girl.

Way to go painters! Can we see before and after photos of the garage, or at least after photos?

Did the kids make their zucchini boats at the fair or do you bring them already done to race?

Looks like fun? Good work! Hey we tried the pizza on the grill and it was awesome! I walked past Mark on campus on Thursday and thought - Hey, that looks like Mark. When it clicked that it was him he was gone - like a gazelle! It was fun to see him though, maybe next time I'll talk to him...

You'd think that I'd get before and after pictures since it was such a daunting project, but I didn't. I'll get after pictures this Saturday when we're all done with doors/trim.

You had to bring your zucchini boats pre-made to the fair. They did have a Kids Day on Thurs for crafts and such.
