Adelyn woke up early on Thursday because she was so excited for MY birthday. I don't think she got up too early on her own birthday. She made this sign for me with Mike telling her what letter came next (and sometimes reminding her of what it looked like). They made me a special birthday breakfast and we went to the local Cafe for dinner.
We had homemade waffle cones (the birthday gift that keeps on giving) and homemade ice cream for dessert. It was wonderful!

Way to go Mike! So funny, Tom's the same way with not being able to keep secrets. Well, actually he rarely does anything that even has to be kept a secret. I'm glad you had a happy birthday! What a cute family you have. What are you now? 21? :)

What a fantastic gift! It is one of those that you'll be able to enjoy hopefully for the rest of your life! That's so cute about Adelyn being so excited about your birthday. I love the pure sweet joy of children!
What a wonderful surprise! Pianos are the best! I guess baby #3 will be coming soon. Good luck with that. Our ward is getting a new bishop tomorrow, and I have a hunch it is our close friends! We'll share the news when we know for sure! Take care!
