Tis the Season

Today we went to the local U-Pick Pumpkin Patch in conjunction with Adelyn's preschool. I took Michael too, although he would probably rather I didn't because he thought it was "yucky" and wouldn't hardly walk through the patch. He is proud of his pumpkin though, he just won't make the mistake of touching it again, the tops are a little prickly.I told Adelyn she could pick anything she could carry by herself (since it's pay by the pound and all). She chose the biggest pumpkin she could carry. Consequently, it got dropped several times on the way to the car, but must be a sturdy little fellow.

I love that picture of Micheal, he looks like such a little man! That cracks me up about Adelyn, I hope the pumpkin was good and dead so it didnt feel any of the pain of getting dropped :) What a fun field trip!

Has Michael always been anit-dirt? Can he teach Austin to be that way? We went for a walk today and Austin ate a couple handfuls of dirt just for kicks.

Just saw the pic of you prego. You make a cute prego. No worries, I was showing way early too. Kind of makes running hard when you stick out way early though, doesn't it?

Sorry Heid, this boy is not afraid of dirt. It was the dead squash leavage and vines that was not only yucky but "scary." Since when does an almost 2-year-old understand scary?

Love the pumpkin patch. Your kids are really quite cute and fun. What photo editing program do you use for the cute borders? Hope you're well! --Sara
