For the Record
Our Year in Review:
After the holidays we got our house in Colorado ready to put on the market and had it ready to sell by mid-January. We were so happy it sold so swiftly. The kids were so good to let us work. I will never forget how patient they were.

Keeping themselves entertained

February was the first month where we put together some particulars of our new business: “Accounting Professionals.” We also had to say our goodbyes to Colorado and all our great friends.

March 3rd was the day we moved to Parowan. Grandma and Grandpa Crisp let us stay in their home while we started a house search. Mike’s first home office was there in the basement. We made a fun trip to Phoenix before we got too busy!

April was the beginning of a beautiful spring season. We made a trip up to Salt Lake to watch conference at the conference center (a first for Alissa).

May was a busy house-searching month. We put an offer on our 2nd house, since the 1st didn’t work out. The 2nd house didn’t work out either… but life moved on and Michael started crawling. We finally made our 3rd and final offer on the blue house.

June was the month we waited to close on our own home. We took a distraction trip to Sea World.

All we remember about July is how much help we received to get us moved into our house. Primer, Paint, Carpet, Floors, Ducts, Sheetrock, Cleaning, Re-Installing, and Moving all our stuff! It was fun to see so much family during the summer, especially since that’s why we moved here!

Our garden was full-fledged. We finished up some house projects, especially the plumbing problem! Yuck!

September started out with a bang! And the 5K race was off! We had fun training for the Labor Day Fun Run. We entered crops in the fair, and Mike started the no-sugar deal for the next year with lots of family.

In October we had fun water-skiing, until we got rained out. We all enjoyed Michael's 1st birthday.

In November Mike attended his 2nd BYU game of the season. We also made our second trip of the year to Sea World.

December was so busy with Christmas preparations. We spend the holidays and Phoenix and brought in the New Year here at home.
